MRI
Multi-focal T2/FLAIR high signal intensity lesions at the bilateral cerebral subcortical white matter, corpus callosum, cerebellum, and brainstem.
Some of the lesions at the supratentorial level show peripheral enhancement and surrounding edema.
In sagittal imaging, the so-called 'Dawson's fingers' are evident in some of the lesions.
On SWI, no abnormal dropout signal is seen.
