Findings are consistent with focal cortical dysplasia. Focal increase in myelination depicted by reduced T2 and increased T1 signal is often a sign of an underlying focal cortical dysplasia. The patient's EEG showed abnormal discharges from the left frontal lobe and MRI findings are consistent with the same.
