What type of oesophageal atresia is present?
Most likely a type C - proximal oesophageal atresia with distal tracheo-oesophageal fistula. This is the most common type.
There is a distended and gas-filled proximal oesophagus with a nasogastric tube looped within it. Gas is seen within the stomach.
