MRI
Thin-walled cystic lesion located on the lateral aspect of the knee, with an elongated tubular and polylobulated morphology. It extends anteriorly to the proximal tibioperoneal joint and also extends cranially around the neck of the fibula following the path of the common peroneal nerve.
In the most cranial aspect of the lesion, there is a widening of the common peroneal nerve, suggesting that the lesion is dependent on this neural structure.
Unfortunately, the study protocol did not include the entire lesion in any of the acquisitions.
High signal intensity due to oedema of the muscle belly of the tibialis anterior, partially included. Mild atrophy and fatty infiltration of all the muscles on the anterior and lateral compartments, partially included.
