MRI
The pituitary is normal in size and signal intensity. The infundibulum is midline.
There is a 5*7 mm sharply circumscribed non-enhancing high T2 signal region in the anterior pituitary presumably represents a Rathke's cleft cyst. There is a central T2 hypointense nodule (dot sign).
Optic chiasm, cavernous sinuses, and suprasellar region appear unremarkable.
The remainder of the imaged brain appears unremarkable.
