CT
Asymmetrical increased wall thickness due to tumoural infiltration is present in the cervical oesophagus, measuring about 6 cm long. The fat plane between the mass and posterior wall of trachea is obliterated and mild indentation is observed that suggest local invasion (confirmed with endoscopic ultrasound).
A few enlarged lymph nodes are seen in the vicinity of the diseased segment and the visualised part of the aortopulmonary window.
A few small nodules are seen in the thyroid.
