Pott puffy tumor

Discussion:

Pott puffy tumor is a subperiosteal abscess of the frontal bone with cranial osteomyelitis, it's a rare complication of frontal sinusitis.It is mostly found among teenagers and adolescents. Most commonly caused by S. aureus, nonenterococcal Streptococcus, and oral anaerobes. This complication of sinusitis has become quite rare since the introduction of antibiotics.
