Fibromuscular dysplasia - caroticovertebral arteries

Discussion:

This patient with a known history of fibromuscular dysplasia has typical CTA findings of the disease, including extracranial internal carotid and vertebral arteries vascular loops as well as fusiform aneurysmal dilatation of both proximal internal carotid arteries, and beading of the distal extracranial internal carotid arteries. However, there are no findings of significant stenosis or arterial dissection.
