Bloomy rind sign - leptomeningeal metastasis

The case showed the characteristic abnormal hyperintensity along the ventral surface of the brain stem (pons) on fluid-attenuated inversion recovery, T2-weighted imaging, and diffusion-weighted imaging with no corresponding contrast uptake, impressive of bloomy rind sign, which is characteristic for leptomeningeal metastases (leptomeningeal carcinomatosis).
