Hypervascular head and neck lesions

Hypervascular head and neck lesions are findings that enhance avidly after biphasic injection, on contrast-enhanced CT or MRI of the neck.

  • ectopic thyroid gland

    • hyperdense soft tissue mass on non contrast-CT

    • intense homogeneous enhancement after contrast injection
