Info

- the right kidney is normal in size and shape with a calyceal microlithiasis (2 mm). The postcontrast images show alternating linear bands of low and high attenuation in a radial pattern extending through the corticomedullary layers in keeping with a striated nephrogram
- left kidney is normal in size with minimal ureterohydronephrosis. A microlithiasis (3 mm) is noted on non-contrast images as well as on the CTU 3D-VR at the vesicoureteric junction
Case Discussion
CT urogram features of right acute pyelonephritis with a contralateral minimal ureterohydronephrosis due to a microlithiasis at the vesicoureteric junction.
