Presentation
Large left sided facial mass. Longstanding, but enlarging.
Patient Data

Huge lucent cystic mass with cortical thinning and destruction in the left mandibular body extending into the condyle. It has a 'soap-bubble' appearance.
No midline extension.
No associated dentition (i.e. it is non-dentigerous in nature).
Case Discussion
Huge non-dentigerous cyst with extension bony destruction. The patient defaulted for several years after prior presentation.
Surgical biopsy was undertake: - pleixiform ameloblastoma.
Ameloblastomas are locally aggressive, but benign, tumors that classically arise from the mandible, as is demonstrated in this case.
