Case Discussion

Features of mildly displaced avulsion fracture of the right anterior inferior iliac spine. It results from traction by the straight head of the rectus femoris muscle by sudden forceful hip extension. It mostly occurs in adolescents (mean 14-17 years) as in this case. Almost all cases are managed conservatively.
