Case Discussion

Typical features of Asherman syndrome are demonstrated by the distorted, uterine cavity secondary to multiple, irregular, uterine synechiae. In the confirmed absence of any prior surgical intervention and pregnancy, the findings are likely due to urogenital tuberculosis (tuberculous endometritis) and chronic sequela thereof in a local tuberculosis-endemic environment.
