Widening of the bi-frontal and anterior inter-hemispheric CSF spaces are seen without flattening of adjacent gyri. There are normal sulci posteriorly and normal ventricular size with no pressure effects on the surrounding brain tissue.
Case Discussion
Findings of CT Scan are the most likely compatible with “benign enlargement of subarachnoid spaces” which also known as “benign external hydrocephalus”, The condition resolves spontaneously by the age of 2 years.
