Popcorn calcifications are present within a rounded mass in the left side of the pelvis. Moderate changes of osteoarthritis are present in both hip joints.
Case Discussion
Uterine fibroids (leiomyomata) may be seen on pelvic and abdominal radiographs if they become calcified as in this case. The calcification is usually patchy, often described as "popcorn" like in appearance.
