Intrahepatic bile ducts are mildly dilated and extrahepatic bile ducts appear normal in caliber. A 65 × 60 mm ill-defined hypoenhancing mass is noted in the central liver. There are also multiple small low enhancing masses scattered throughout the liver.
A few subcentimeter simple cortical cysts are seen at kidneys.
The prostate gland is enlarged.
Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
Right inguinal hernia is present.
Case Discussion
Pathology proven case of cholangiocarcinoma which is the second most common primary hepatobiliary malignancy after hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). They tend to have a poor prognosis and high morbidity.
