Presentation
Epistaxis; Difficulty in breathing; Mass per examination in nasal cavity.
Patient Data

Bony erosion and destruction of posterior nasal septum with a soft tissue attenuation mass epicentered at septum. Some stippled calcific specks noted in lesion.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a resection.
HIstology:
The resected tumor shows variable cellularity and mild nuclear pleomorphism. Some of the fragments contain bone and there is a strong suggestion of permeative growth in these fragments. There are multiple foci of chondrocyte necrosis present. The appearance is that of a low-grade chondroid neoplasm, consistent with low-grade chondrosarcoma.
FINAL DIAGNOSIS: low-grade chondroid neoplasm, consistent with chondrosarcoma grade 1.
