Info

Multiple small nodular enhancing lesions seen in the both basal ganglia, midbrain on left side and cerebellum bilaterally. The lesions show blooming on gradient echo images, represent internal calcification. Mild perilesional edema surrounding the lesions.

Case Discussion

Known case of cryptococcus meningitis. The CSF findings suggestive of cryptococcus infection. The bilateral basal ganglia involvement is typical.
