Presentation
Acute abdominal pain that occured 3 days after motor vehicle accident. Chest pain. Elevated CRP levels.
Patient Data









Aneurysmal dilatation and dissection of celiac artery extending into common hepatic artery and left gastric artery.
Filling defects in some branches of splenic artery consistent with thrombosis.
Splenic infarcts.
Small bilateral hydrothorax. Bilateral nephrolithiasis. Small simple cysts in both kidneys. Prostate enlargement. L4 vertebral body demonstrates a limbus vertebra.
Case Discussion
Here is a case of celiac artery dissection extending into common hepatic artery and left gastric artery, with thrombosis of some splenic artery branches and splenic infarcts. The abdominal aorta is not involved.
