Incidental finding; sclerotic contoured defect of the posterior arch of the atlas in keeping with a Currarino type A congenital anomaly.

Case Discussion

Trauma-related facial bone injury. Despite the traumatic origin, the appearance of the C1 defect is not suspicious of bony injury. Incidental finding of Currarino type A congenital anomaly.
