Info

Severe osteo-arthritic changes of the patella-femoral and tibio-femoral articulations in the form of marginal osteophytes, narrowing of tibio-femoral articulation and minimal subchondral bone sclerosis.

Coronal tibiofemoral (CTF) subluxation is also noted as a finding of osteoarthritis.

Case Discussion

Medial or lateral coronal tibiofemoral (CTF) subluxation is a common finding in knee osteoarthritis. It is classified as mild (<5 mm) moderate (<10 mm) and severe (>10 mm). Severe CTF subluxation is a contraindication for high tibial osteotomy.
