Acute right iliac fossa pain in a pregnant woman at 6 weeks gestation (beta hCG: 13,000).
Patient Data





Gestational sac including fetal pole within the right adnexa adjacent to right ovary. Cardiac activity is present. There is decidual reaction within the uterus but no intrauterine pregnancy. There is free fluid within the pelvis.
Case Discussion
Ultrasound shows gestational sac including fetal pole within the right adnexa adjacent to right ovary. Cardiac activity is present. There is decidual reaction within the uterus but no intrauterine pregnancy. There is free fluid within the pelvis. Findings are consistent with live adnexal ectopic pregnancy.
