No bony injuries identified. Within the second middle phalanx shaft is a 4 mm well-defined cortical lucency.

Case Discussion

A non-ossifying fibroma (previously known as fibrous cortical defects when <2-3 cm) is the most likely diagnosis although the hand is a less common location.
