Both spermatic cords are bulky with significant contour irregularities, markedly increased vascularity, and markedly echogenic intervening fat planes.
Bilateral hydroceles showing a few septations.
This picture is consistent with inflammation of the spermatic cord (funiculitis).
Case Discussion
Funiculitis is inflammation of the spermatic cord. It is usually an infective bacterial process.
This patient had a history of urinary catheter insertion for 14 days, which could be the source of this infection.
