There is a small well-defined cystic lesion in right antrolateral wall of proximal vagina, above level of inferior border of symphysis pubis. It appears hypointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI with no enhancement on postcontrast sequence.
Normal appearance of the uterus and both ovaries
Case Discussion
Cystic lesion in antrolateral wall of superior vagina, suggestive Gartner duct cyst.
The differential diagnosis includes mainly:
- Bartholin gland cyst: usually located at or below the level of the pubic symphysis
- urethral diverticulum: located around the urethra
