Presentation
Pain in shoulder, active sportsman (bowler).
Patient Data

Tear of anterior / anteroinferior glenoid labrum from approx. 3–5 'o clock position with associated ill-defined, irregular multi-loculated paralabral cyst, measuring approx. 17 x 5.5mm.
Mild irregularity of adjacent anteroinferior bony glenoid also seen with thickening of adjacent joint capsule / anterior band of inferior glenohumeral ligament.
Cystic lesion, measuring approx. 10 x 10mm is seen at posterior aspect of myotendinous junction of subscapularis, just abutting anterosuperior labrum further posteriorly. No obvious anterosuperior labral tear is however seen in present scan, likely representing a ganglion cyst.
Case Discussion
Tear of anterior / anteroinferior glenoid labrum from approx. 3–5 'o clock position with associated ill-defined, irregular multi-loculated paralabral cyst. This is the likely cause of patient's pain.
