Info

A foreign body is identified overlying the epiglottis at the C2-4 levels possibly lodged at the valleculae.
Case Discussion
After a failed attempt of removal while awake with xylocaine spray and Magill forceps, a full lower denture was removed while the patient was sedated and intubated in the operating theater.
Edematous and bruised larynx and oropharynx on direct visual observation post removal.
