Presentation
No neurological symptoms.
Patient Data

Right cerebellar intra-axial lesion that displays striated appearance, iso to hypointense on T1 and hyperintense on T2 and FLAIR. There is no significant diffusion restriction or post-contrast enhancement.
MRS revealed mild choline elevation, yet normal NAA peak, in keeping with a benign nature. No lipids or lactate peak.
Case Discussion
This lesion was incidentally discovered 15 years previously. Comparison with the previous study (which was in hard copy) revealed no significant change in the appearance or pattern of this lesion which indicated a benign nature. It is most probably a hamartoma and the possibility of dysplastic cerebellar gangliocytoma is the most favourable diagnosis. Unfortunately, the patient refused undergo biopsy.
