Ultrasound examination shows liver injury and hameoperitoneum.

Large laceration is involving posterior segments of liver. High density fluid is also seen around spleen. The portal vein appears normal. Moderate hematoma is seen around the liver.
Moderate amount of hemoperitoneum.
Minimal patchy shadowing is seen in posterior aspect of both lungs could be contusion.
Case Discussion
Post RTA marked liver laceration with hemoperitoneum. According to AAST (American Association for the Surgery of Trauma) liver injury scale grade 3-4.
