Info

A right distal tributary of the dorsal vein of the penis is non-compressible, with no flow on colour Doppler and surrounded by mild subcutaneous oedema, in keeping with superficial thrombophlebitis (penile Mondor disease).
Case Discussion
The patient has a history of unprotected sexual activity one day before, which could be a predisposing factor. Mondor disease is superficial thrombophlebitis of one superficial veins of the penis. It is a self-limiting condition that usually occurs in young adults after vigorous sexual activity.
