Presentation
History of trauma 20 days ago with swelling at medial side of knee. Clinical suspicion : Abscess
Patient Data

Well circumscribed fluid collection is noted at the medial subcutaneous tissue of knee, compatible with Morel-Lavallée lesion.
Patchy focal marrow edema is noted at femoral and tibial condyles at subarticular location, congruent with bony contusions.
Two semilunar undisplaced osteochondral fractures are noted at medial condyle of femur, one at the anterior aspect and the other at the midarticular aspect.
A coexistent small Baker cyst is also seen.
Case Discussion
Morel-Lavallée lesion at medial aspect of knee (consequent to post-traumatic degloving injury) with bony contusions and osteochondral fractures.
