The supraclinoid part of both internal carotid arteries is not visualized, with the nearby basal cisterns containing numerous vascular collateral channels.

Generalized brain atrophic changes inappropriate to the age of the patient due to chronic ischemia.

dsa

Conventional angiographic images confirm occlusion of both internal carotid arteries beyond C3 segments.

Mesh of small vascular collaterals are again seen.
