Orbital pseudotumor

Download
Info

Preseptal edema in right orbit with loss of fat planes between superior rectus and superior oblique with mild increase in size of both muscle bellies and their tendons. Rest of the extraocular muscles, the intraocular fat, the optic nerve and globe are normal.
Case Discussion
Non-specific inflammation confined to the superior eyelid and superior extraocular muscles consistent with orbital pseudotumor. Involvement of tendinous insertions differentiates it from thyroid ophthalmopathy.
