Info

Mild hallux valgus deformity of the first metatarsophalangeal joint with overlapping sesamoids.
Mild degenerative change at the first metatarsophalangeal joint and proximal interphalangeal joints of the second to fifth metatarsals.
No erosive arthropathy or periarticular osteoporosis.
No destructive bony lesions seen. Os vesalianum and os naviculare noted.
Case Discussion
Os vesalianum is a rare accessory ossicle, much less common than an os peroneum or a non-united avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal styloid.
