Known case of congenital heart disease with prior intervention.

Gender: Female

The PDA closure device is seen in place at the region of the aortopulmonary window. 

Case Discussion

This is a case of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), which was confirmed by echocardiography and managed by endovascular closure. Treatment of PDA can be medical (indomethacin), endovascular (various closure devices) or surgical (clipping or ligation).
