Small, atrophic, and disorganized left eye globe is noted that shows dystrophic calcification. The lens is not clearly visualized.
The right globe shows normal size and position with normal ocular contents. The right lens is intact.
Case Discussion
Phthisis bulbi also called end-stage eye, is an atrophic and disorganized globe that is non-functional. This may result from a variety of ocular insults.
