Grade IV (complete) placenta praevia. Marked thinning of the myometrium in the lower segment with loss of retroplacental hypointense zone at places. No evidence of bladder invasion.
Case Discussion
Lower segment placenta completely covering the internal os suggests grade IV placenta praevia. The patient was taken up for caesarean section delivery. Placenta accreta was confirmed and hysterectomy was done.
