Well-circumscribed isodense oval-shaped masses in both breasts show coarse popcorn-like calcifications, suggesting benign lesions (BI-RADS 2).
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates three benign-looking breast masses with popcorn-like calcification, the classical description of the calcification seen in involuting fibroadenomas and suggests a BI-RADS 2 breast lesion.
It should be noted that if the calcifications in a fibroadenoma are small and abundant, they might resemble malignant-type calcifications, necessitating a biopsy.
