Info

Skeletal changes of chronic renal failure are manifested e.g. diffuse osteosclerosis, thickened cortex and osteomalacia with prominent femoral neck trabeculae. There are multiple osteolytic areas within the ilia, sacrum and proximal femora. Moreover there are bilateral femoral neck fractures which are characteristic of insufficiency fractures.
