Info

A fracture line without a frank union at the proximal part of the scaphoid bone is better seen on a scaphoid view x-ray.
Case Discussion
Scaphoid bone fractures account for 70-80% of all carpal bone fractures and, in some patients, can be challenging to diagnose, resulting in significant functional impairment. Scaphoid view x-ray, CT scan, MRI, and isotope bone scan can be helpful for a definite diagnosis.
