Info

An irregular shape ill-defined soft tissue lesion is seen abutting the anterior surface of the right rectus abdominis muscle. It displays an isointense signal on T1, hypointense signal with peripheral hyperintensity at T2, and strong enhancement after contrast administration. No infiltration of the underlying muscle.

Case Discussion

The patient has history of previous cesarean section. The location of the soft tissue at the site of cesarean section scar as well as its appearance and clinical history of cyclic pelvic pain confirms the clinical diagnosis of scar endometriosis.
