MRI shows multiple hyperintense cord lesion some of which enhance peripherally following gadolinium administration. The cord is mildly expanded, secondarily to the lesions and to cord edema.
Case Discussion
Acute MS can show mild expansive spinal cord lesions / focal cord edema.
