There is a T1- and T2 hyperintense extra-axial fluid collection with no restricted diffusion seen in the left fronto-parietal region, which is causing mass effect onto the underlying brain tissue, effacement of the adjacent sulci and resulting in a midline shift to the right.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with subacute left fronto-parietal subdural haemorrhage.

Subdural haemorrhage occurs when blood accumulates between the dura mater and arachnoid mater in the brain's meninges, necessitating prompt medical attention.
