Bilateral symphalangism affecting the first to fourth toes with ankylosis of the proximal interphalangeal joints. 

Case Discussion

Symphalangism refers to the ankylosis of interphalangeal joints of the toes or fingers. Most commonly affects the distal interphalangeal joint of the fifth toe, this case demonstrates a variant of a variant!
