Well defined heterogenous signal intensity mass with solid and cystic/necrotic components seen involving right tensor fascia lata muscle. Gluteus medius and minimus are indented by the mass however there is no evidence of invasion.
On imaging possibility of soft tissue sarcoma was given with age and juxta-articular location favoring synovial sarcoma.
Case Discussion
The mass was completely excised and histopathology revealed synovial sarcoma.
