Disrupted medial gastrocnemius musculotendinous junction associated with muscle swelling and edema. An hematoma deep to medial gastrocnemius muscle is also noted.
Case Discussion
Mechanism of injury will always relate to site and muscle group that got injured.
Muscle edema, discontinuation of tendon and hematoma clarify the diagnosis.
