Well defined ovoid cystic mass in the visceral space of the suprahyoid neck which ends near the foramen cecum of the tongue base. It has homogenous fluid content and a very thin wall.
Neck lymph nodes have normal size and structure.
Surrounding structures seem unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Thyroglossal duct cysts can present as a mass or be an incidental finding. They can present with superinfection, or very rarely become malignant.
