Enhanced soft tissue mass, measuring 5×4mm, is seen lateral to the cochlear promontory at the right side. Eustachian tube, cochlea and semicircle canals are intact. Ossicles are not destroyed. Surrounding bony destruction is not seen. Jugular bulb is intact.
Case Discussion
Findings are comopatible with tympanic paraganglioma (formerly known as glomus tympanicum), which is the most common middle ear tumor.
