Vesicoureteral reflux

Presentation

Urinary tract infection.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
Fluoroscopy

Voiding cystourethrogram demonstrates reflux into right kidney, with dilatation of the right ureter and renal collecting system. The calyxes are distended and blunted. The urethra appears normal. 

Case Discussion

This case illustrates left sided grade IV vesicoureteric reflux without duplex anatomy or posterior urethral valves.
